ICS Building Society first opened for subscriptions on June 2nd 1864. Ever since that day we have gained a reputation for financial strength, customer service and innovation. In 1984 ICS became part of Bank of Ireland Group. ICS Building Society launched the first Mortgage Store back in 1989, with the opening of their Grafton Street store.
The objective of the store was to provide a fresh alternative to the traditional mortgage experience offered by banks and building societies. ICSBS now have 8 stores - Grafton Street, Dame Street, Blackrock, Dundrum, Swords and the IFSC in Dublin and one in Cork and one in Waterford.The stores were designed to create an informal, relaxed and unintimidating environment for customers.
